Technical work
The opening of new office of SPIE Student Chapter is planned
on June, 2002. Office opened in 2001 (room 257) with a library
of SPIE editions was not in a very good condition. Absence
of computers with all necessary attachments, new furniture
and repair did not give to it a prestigious kind. The opening
of new office, planned on June, 2002, partly solves some
problems. The new room 250 names Bilyi Mikhail Ulyanovych
(former rector of our university, dean of physical faculty
and head of optics department) has the much more area. Repair
recently was finished, the office is equipped by furniture.
The appearance of photogallery and equipment by computer
technique - for more effective conduction of lectures, seminars,
sessions of the members of SPIE Student Chapter, and scientific
activity in library with SPIE editions is planned.
At financial support of our University and SPIE becomes
to possible use of electronic library of the SPIE editions
at new office on new computers.
The opening of a web-site of Student Chapter of SPIE is
planned till September, 2002.
